Fruit – Most people who consume large amounts of sugar, eat less fruit. But once you don’t have sugary snacks as an option, fruit is a good substitute to keep the cravings at bay.
Hidden sugar – Remember that giving up sugar involves giving up hidden sugars, such as Worcestershire sauce, chutney, ketchup, brown sauce, shop-bought mayonnaise, and mustard. Purchase sugar less additions like olive oil, balsamic vinegar, greek yoghurt to make your meals more enjoyable.
Constant eating – When quitting sugar in the first few weeks your blood sugar will be moving up and down constantly during the course of the day. This can cause you to feel tired and lethargic.
